The W211 E500 interior is one of my favorites. I have one in my car family and while I would never want to own one, I am very happy that I have gotten to spend time inside it and driving it. It is indicative of the times, the cabin is littered with the vestigial organs of out techno-adolescence. Aux jack? Nope sorry, here is a proprietary motorola cellphone with dash integrated keypad. Terribly charming and period perfect left/right damler shifter? Check. That compartment to the left of the glovebox keyhole? Seems like it would fit an extra handgun clip nicely. Thoughts? I love it...it is a microcosm of the year 2003

It's mad comfy too! My friend's parents had an E320 then E350 of that generation so I spent some time in them.

Apart from the steering wheel, I like the look of it! Very clean and German. Some might say it's boring but I like it a lot.

my roommate owns a former Enron fleet car his mom got at auction. It's the 500 and it's far past it's expiration mark well over the 100k mile mark. These cars were designed to be leases and just were never meant to last so it has some troubling transmission issues and the interior has lost it's glisten. This thing is seriously fast though

Yea, I know people who've had 2000-2009 Benzes and ran over puddles only to kill the engine...
